About E47 Foundation

E47 Foundation is a hands-on engineering education nonprofit starting in Hunza, Pakistan, built directly with the community it serves.

MISSION

Give capable students in underserved regions the tools, mentorship, and hands-on engineering experience to move from curious, to capable, to building real things.

VISION

A Pakistan where a student’s zip code — not their ability — is no longer the limiting factor on what they can build or become.

Zain Abid

Mechanical Engineer (NUST), co-founder of Race Pakistan and NUVEX. Has taught students in both Karachi and Hunza; leads curriculum and instruction.
PARTNER

Hassan Shah

Syed Hassan Abid Shah is a BBA student at IBA Karachi and an entrepreneur with experience in digital marketing, real estate, and business development. Passionate about using innovation and technology to create impactful ventures and opportunities for youth.
THE HUB OF INNOVATION

A dedicated workshop space

The plan for Year 2 is a dedicated space in Hunza with a workshop floor, teaching labs, and a maker area, serving cohorts drawn from all seven districts of Gilgit-Baltistan. It is not built yet; Cohort 1 runs from a temporary facility in the valley in the meantime.
